Thank a vet today! Give them hug, a hand shake or just a simple thanks. But thank them. Not just today, but eveyday. Because you know what video game or cell phone you just went to the store and got, thinking nothing of it, well, there are many, many people who worked to keep your freedom so you could go out there and buy that game or phone and think nothing of it.

I finally, after about 3 days, PMed a friend of mine who is currently home from deployment in the Navy. Why did I wait so long? I am not happy with her choices as of late. Not being in the Navy, I am proud about that, but her not wanting to work hard in her classes to be an interperter and running off and marrying a guy who she didn't really know. I just hope he doesn't fuck her up and she ends up getting kicked out. They already kicked her our of one program and put her on a ship for 7 months because she didn't want to do the work for her language classes, if he gets her kicked out, I won't forgive him and her.
